			 ===== BOUNCER v4.1 =====

			     By Kenneth Brody

Please note that the original code for this game was
written for filePro Plus version 1.2 way back in 1985.
This is an updated version using filePro 4.1

Summary:

This game is based on a series of hand-held LCD games from the early 1980's.
In this game, there is a building on fire on the left side of the screen,
and an ambulance on the right.	People are jumping out of the building to
escape the flames. Your job (should you except it) is to run back and forth
with a net and bounce the people into the ambulance. It takes three bounces
to reach the ambulance. Each person that you miss goes "splat" on the ground.
After the third splat, the game ends. You get one point for each bounce you
make.

How to play:

There is one record for each person who plays the game. The record holds
information such as your highest score and your password. Record 1 holds
the highest score ever reached.

Upon starting the game, you are asked for your initials. If the initials
you enter are not on file, you will be asked if you want to add them to
the file. If you answer 'Y', you will be brought to the information screen.
For now, only enter your full name and an optional password. Don't worry
about all of the funny characters at the bottom of the screen, I'll explain
them later.

Remember your password! You will not be able to play without it!

Once you have a record to play from, you can play the game. Press 'P'
to play.

Your net is the red bar near the bottom of the screen.	You move the
net back and forth with the arrow keys. When a person jumps from the
building, wait for him to reach the net and bounce. Then move the net
to the middle position and bounce him again. After you bounce the person
from the right-most position, he will bounce into the ambulance and be
safe. Sounds simple, huh? Just wait until there are people all over the
screen at one time. You then must juggle them properly so that you don't
miss anybody.

Notes:

The timing of jumpers is strictly random. There are sometimes long
stretches when nobody jumps. You can force a jumper by pressing 'J'.

In the real game, things would start out slow, and then you would get
more and more jumpers faster and faster as the game went along. In this
version, there is no adjustment made as the game goes along.

You can pause the game at any time by pressing 'P'.

There are no delay loops in the processing. After all, in 1985, our
"speedy" 8-MHz 286 IBM-AT was just barely fast enough to play at a
resonable speed. Today's 33-MHz 486's are probably a bit too fast
to play. If you want to add a delay loop, place it at the line
labelled "loop". (line 25)
